“Confidence is not guarantee of success, but a pattern of thinking that will improve your likelihood of success, a tenacious search for ways to make things work.”-John Eliot

Women may lack self confidence either due to:

· Over thinking (worrying)

· Procrastination

Have you observed babies? They try to walk but fall.

Despite falling so many times, they start walking all over the place, running, dancing and jumping within short span of time. In the same way, we can build our confidence too .

I would like to share few thoughts here…

Some feelings are common for both men and women such as important meeting with boss, delivering the first public speech or first date etc. The trick to handle all those is not to waste time on negatively predicting the outcome. Instead, live the moment. Do well believing upon your skills.

“Strong women don’t play victim, don’t make themselves look pitiful and don’t point fingers. They Stand and They Deal.”- Mandy Hal

Women are more sensitive to the needs of others. They are more aware of the changes and they start worrying upon all certain possible situations. The ability to think things over a level can make one’s life miserable.

For example, thinking too much can create anxiety, confusion and stress etc. So when opportunity strikes, Go for an Action instead of Paralysis by Analysis. It is better to jump into the swimming pool than thinking too much about whether to go for swimming or not isn’t it?

“Strong women need not declare that they carry all the burdens in life. They just quietly do it and survive with a smile.”- Princess Maleiha Bajunaid Candao

Appearance and Opinions, they all depend upon our internal strength and belief system. Women who appear confident do not give into life. Nothing stops them from enjoying life.

One of the recent survey about smile concluded that people who smile a lot are considered more attractive than those who don’t.

Women observe facial gestures and voice tones, a good quality but sometimes we get it wrong. So before a negative thought vanishes our happiness, we should develop the habit of being more optimistic.

Take criticism seriously, but not personally. If there is a truth in criticism, try to learn from it. Otherwise, let it roll right off you.

Oh my dear lovely women,

“Focus on your strengths rather than your shortcomings”.

This is again related to what we think.

Write down 3 things everyday that you did well and you were proud of.

Keep on practising things which not works well, until it started being at its best level.

And Finally I’m ending with the quote of Maya Angelou

“NOTHING CAN DIM THE LIGHT WHICH SHINES FROM WITHIN.”

Happy Women's Day!!! Be Proud to be a Woman!!!
